Assuming you have have one . . have you tried it to make a smoothie? Does it actually break down ice and fruit?

I have one of course (two actually), or I wouldn't recommend it. However, I never tried to make a smoothie with it. Per the promo it's supposed to be able to make smoothies, but I don't really know first hand. Here's one link that mentions smoothies:
