I would suggest adding some protein to your lunch salads in the form of nuts, seeds, chicken, tuna, etc.

I do put a few nuts in it. But I usually have chicken most days for supper and dont really want it 2 meals. What about yogurt or cottage cheese do they have much sodium. I have high blood pressure so need to watch that.
Thanks

Have an egg or two for breakfast. I start most of my days with eggs.

Good sources (healthy) would be from milk, cheese, yogurt, beans, eggs, pork, chicken, tuna, soy, lean beef, and if you're looking for protein on the go then look into cereal bars, energy bars, etc.

Beans are a good source of protein. I use black beans as they are my favourite. I put a half cup on a salad or have beans instead of rice or potatoes in a meal.
