Am I doing it right?
Maybe my expectations are set too high. I weighed 287.8 this morning. That's just one pound in a matter of four days. I realize that's not a bad loss in four days, but it's discouraging because before when I lost a lot of weight, I dropped it fairly quickly (within healthy limits) and barely seeing the scale move is very difficult for me. Especially since nearly every day my husband is pouting that we no longer have any "good" food to eat. Argh! The only exercise I've been doing is walking a mile each day. I eat three meals a day, and they aren't over 400 calories each. I may have fruit for a snack once a day as well. I've increased my water (I'm terrible at drinking), but I'm still probably not drinking as much as I should. I drink about 32 ounces plus I allow myself one diet soda a day. What would you change? Watch the sodium? Increase water? Maybe just lower my expectations and learn to be patient?
