Question IP and surgery

I tried searching but couldn't find my answer.

I am having a discectomy in 2 weeks. I believe I will be 1 night in the hospital. I am contemplating staying in P1 up until the surgery, and resuming as soon as i get home. Shakes sound easy on a sore, recovering body.

Or would you recommend phasing into P3 before the surgery and then restarting P1 at some point (when?) aft I have recovered?

Thanks for your wisdom!

Can only tell you that a good friend had major neck surgery while on PH1 and had no issues. The day after surgery she did PH1 alternative just because of the tummy issues that she has from medication. That is always an option for you to go to PH1 alternative. Wish you the best!
FYI-her doctor said that in 15 years of practice he as never seen some one heal as quickly or have more strength than her. Good protein!
