Default What BMR calculator do you use?

I have used the " Harris-Benedict " equation and others that were listed as " most accurate" or " best" ....I ended up with 3 diff numbers yesterday ...4,690 ( I wish !!!!!!!) 3,026.... And 2145..... I'm 5'10 195 lbs 31 yr old m.....and walk/run 20-25 miles a week

Also I read somewhere you should only subtract half of the calories you burn by exercising off your daily total ? Exp...I eat 1500 calories, burn off 300 running, total daily net would then be 1350? Has anyone else seen this?

64 views and none of you have calculated your BMR ? lol just trying to find out which equation i should use.....i have a hard time believing that i burn 4,690 calories a day with my cardio routine

Hi ohioguy123 -

It's hard to see 64 views and wonder why there's no response. Most views are by viewers, not members with posting privileges. A new thread can get 150 views sometimes before it's first response.

I don't do the BMR calorie calculations as you are asking about. I came to the amount of food in my eating plan by choosing an amount that fit my style, and then letting my body choose the corresponding weight. So not only did I not do the calculation, I don't know the number now.

Keep the faith; someone doing it you way will happen by soon.
