Okay...who is drinking water???? Now that it is warming up, I am back to water drinking. It is easier for me if I add ice. I have had 36 oz so far. Hope to add another 24 before days end.
I'm making a conscious effort to drink water on the weekends. I am usually out and about running errands and forget to drink my water. I usually end up drinking lots of coffee instead But on Friday night at dinner I had a glass of red wine followed by two glasses of water.
I also managed to have about 3 10 ounce glasses of water on Saturday and today I have had two so far. It's not as much as I should be drinking but it is a start
I'm doing better on the water. I have a litre size bottle at work, and I make sure I drink at least two of those, then watever I drink at home. Weekends are harder. I need to get some sort of measuring system going here like that. But I'm not doing too bad.
We have a water cooler at home and the only drink we have in the house besides water is coffee and milk. I drink between 3-4 L a day. I limit myself to 2 cups of coffee per day. No diet drinks unless its my free day. Too much sodium. I don't like milk so I am pretty much taken care of. I think finding the right temp is important for water consumption. I have mine straight out of the cooler, no ice. I don't care for ice.
I live in arsenic city. So we are strictly advised to drink bottled water. I miss my Brita pitcher! And my pur sink purifier I had in Vegas. 16 more months and the treatment plant will be running. Hopefully it tastes good. I got in my water today. I may even get in more this evening!!!! What has happened to me? Oh, yeah, SPRING is near!!!
Suzanne is right, Ginya. Once you get used to it, you actually crave it! (I know, I know... hard to believe )
I used to have trouble drinking even a couple of glasses a day, but now (apart from my lovely coffee) it's my main thirst quencher. First thing in the morning I recognize the signs of dehydration, and I must have water! It's great to know that I'm listening to my body's needs.
We have one of those big rectangular Brita thingys with a tap. It hooks onto the inside of our fridge on the door. I love it... it holds a lot of water. What I HATE is filling the damned thing!
