Almost a year to the date, I have the final team consult at the hospital! April 12th is the day I find out when I go in for bypass!
I had my scope Monday, and the worst part was the needle for the IV (my hands are difficult since the veins there are flat ;p). I had a biopsy of my stomach, and I had a tiny cramp that night.
I'm excited and nervous. I mean I was shaking for the scope from anxiety
But finally guys...finally I can see my first goal on the horizon!
While I don't have experience with the surgery, my older sister had it after years of nothing working!
It is a big process (as I am sure you know) and definitely isn't the easy way out that some people say it is! Good for you doing what you feel is best for you!! Best of wishes for a swift and healthy recovery!!
wow! it's finally all coming together - how long after April 12 do you think you'll have the surgery? some centers line people up within a couple of weeks - others up to 4 months.
Big congratulations on moving one more step closer to your surgery! I cried tears of joy the day I got my news. I'm counting down the days and it gets more real and reachable every day.
