Question Just started Ideal Protein & want a workout plan

I just started Ideal protein diet today and I generally like to get some gym time in. I was told to not workout for the 1st week on the diet...is this true?? What is a good workout plan for the gym with cardio & weights with this diet?? I am looking to drop 15+ pounds and tone up not get ripped. I have a trip end of April that requires a swimsuit, my best friends wedding mid may and then summer is fast approaching. I just wanna start looking better even if my goal is not met right away. Thanks.

gmccrae I don't know what the Ideal protein diet is, but Lydia just wrote several long posts in this thread which will help you put together a good workout plan.

I've been on Ideal Protein since January. The first week or two you will be detoxing - you may feel weak, light headed, nauseous or headachy. Don't give up it doesn't last long. You will feel great and full of energy before long. Then go with your usual workout.
