Default Yay! My new favorite thing at the grocery store!

I'm so excited. I've been missing sweet pickle relish. We Southern girls just can't cook without it. I found Mt. Olive No Sugar Added Sweet Pickle Relish at my Lowe's Foods. It's 1 carb per 2 T. and sweetened with Splenda. How good is that?

I rushed right home, opened the jar and took a little taste. PERFECT! I'm boiling eggs right now to make egg salad, and I have deli ham to make ham salad with pickle relish and little red onion. Oh, baby, baby!

Yum, that sounds delicious! I miss sweet relish in my deviled eggs. They taste too salty without it. I tried to mix chopped pickles with Splenda before and it still wasn't the same!

Linsy, Netrition carries the Mt. Olive No Sugar Added Sweet Pickle Relish, and it is absolutely perfect. Your grocery stores may carry Mt. Olive products. They're located about 60 miles from me - Mt. Olive, N.C. - but they ship all over the world.

No way does it taste weird. I just made ham salad with it...heaven. I was so jealous after Christmas when a friend made ham salad with her left-overs, and I couldn't.

You could make the bread and butter pickles I just posted on my recipe thread and run them through the food processor. Sounds like a lot of work, but you'd have lots of relish, and it keeps forever in the refrigerator.

Congratulations on handling your super-bowl festivities. You're doing so well.

No, Rainbow, and I don't want cottage cheese in my egg salad. I'm not a big fan of cottage cheese - relatively high in carbs for something I don't love. Duke's Mayonnaise, I love - very low in carbs.
