Default Thursday Weigh In Results-December

This is very strange---I know I started this Dec. thread but it isn't showing up.

Anyway, Kira posted that she'd lost before the Turkey day "binge," as she called it.
Way to go, Kira!!!!!!!

I'm not really wanting to weigh this week. We'll see.

Angry Big Big Smiles

Hi Everyone.

Well since I'm Canadian I've had my turkey binge in October and have made amends since then.

This weeks weigh in showed a mindboggling loss of 3.4 lbs.

Looks like my Christmas present to me this year may be hitting goal weight ...( 4.2 lbs to go) Guess this will be my motivator to be and keep

Thanks so much for all the support I've had on here since I started.

Weighed the same as last week. No gain which is great after the shopping weekend and the family Thanksgiving dinners.

since today is thursday i guess i will weigh in on this thread. Im new so be patient with me please and lead me the right way.

i have really gained alot of weight this year and i need to lose it my goal is 65 pounds. i weigh 200 pounds today .
I have quit smoking in the last three weeks and started working out in a gym 30 minutes a day this week. now its time to see what we can do to the bathroom scales.. thanks

We are so happy you came here!
Stopping smoking can lead to weight gain. However, you have the right idea by exercising. Wow, I don't exercise every day!

Let us know how you did on the scales.
We are here for you. Please feel free to ask questions.

Okay, I didn't get near my scales today. In the morning, if I'm not frozen, I'll step on them. It feels soooo cold tonight. It should be down near freezing. Maureen, don't laugh. I know you walk to work in the snow. I'm not used to this weather. Brrrr... Enough complaining out of me tonight.

Tammy--how are you feeling?

Thanks-I weigh 200 pounds and going up up up. The not smoking doesnt really change my eating habits -I thought i would never quit( I would die with a cigarette in my hand). I smoked two packs everyday.I joined the local ymca family plan for christmas this year. I wasn't buying toys and things this year for my kids that would end up in the trash the week after christmas. They got a years pass to the y. and it really helps me because im in a program that I have to sign off my time so I go everyday at least 30 minutes.
well I started my diet diet today counting the calories and measuring things out. lets see what I can do.
Good luck to everyone and Im glad since I have to be on this road of dieting I am on it with people like you ...friendly

Congrats Robfrost! That's great that you stopped smoking. I would think it would be hard doing it. Keep up the good work!

Tina, you can do it!!! and YES it is cold here too!!!

I weighed this morning and was up 1 pound not bad for TOM.

I didn't WI this week. I just couldn't face the scale. I have SO blown it the last couple weeks. I am just having a terrible time getting back OP since Thanksgiving. But I WILL DO IT! I just have to get myself back on track. Hope everyone else had better luck than I have. Will check in next week. Have a great week end all.....Sis

Hey Everyone I had a 4lb gain last week but I am back to 174 this week. My hubby is home and I havent been binge snacking. Talk to you later.

Nikchu - good job on your loss!

Sis - just get back on track. I've had a hard time too getting refocused. Just take it one day at a time!

Tina- way to go on staying the same. I bet you show a loss this week.
