Talking Cycling.

Hey all! I was wondering if anyone has seen any weightloss results with cycling classes? I'm starting one in 2 weeks and am pretty excited about it. I heard you can burn almost 600 calories per session!

I haven't taken any cycling classes, but I was biking outside pretty regularly last month, and it definitely helped a lot. It's quite a work out, and I don't think I was working out as hard as I would have been in a cycling class, so I'm sure you'll see some nice results! Good luck!

I think stella cycles a lot Or at least she used to. My experience with them is that they are quite intense, but id rather be running

Those classes can be intense. BUT, they are as intense as you make them. You can either coast through those classes, work kinda hard, or give it your all. You are the one who sets the resistance for your own body strength and height. It's tough to get used to and you should show up about 15 min before class so the instructor can help you adjust your bike properly.

LOVE cycling. Makes a huge difference in your leg muscles, butt perkiness and HIPS, a problem zone for me. Awesome workout!

I also really love spinning (go 5 times a week!). I can't tell if it's helping me lose weight, because I've had a rough go of it with food lately, and, for me, weight loss is like 99% food and 1% exercise.

I enjoy running too, but spinning is a great change of pace, and cross-training workout.
