Is this for real? I am, am in part, losing weight for the mere fact that I want to be able to wear more. I've fantasized about all the new clothes I'd be able to fit into at goal and along the way. However, I did NOT realize that I would go down in shoe size. Right now I am in a 14-15. Most of the shoes I go crazy over don't go to that size. Is that true? Do you lose weight in your FEET? What about your hands? Will i be able to wear gloves and not freeze my hands off in the winter lol?? This is FANTASTIC news! if it's true...please let me know!! By the way I am a guy...i just have a thing for clothes...lol
Yep it's true! I used to be a 9-9.5 and now I wear an 8-8.5!!! And yes hands too...I used to wear a ring size 8 on my middle finger and now a 7. You'd be amazed where the weight/ fluid on your body is!
My feet are thinner, for sure. It sounds crazy but I have shoes that used to be too tight that fit perfectly well now. And I tend to more a 9 instead of a 9.5.
And for hands, absolutely. I wear wearing a tight 9.5 in rings before. Now I'm a loose 8.5, more like an 8.25.
Yes, echoing what everyone has posted, you will definitely notice a difference. I have a plus sized watch (it has extra links than usual) that is nearly falling off my hand now. I will have to take a link or two out soon or I will lose it sometime!
I mentioned this to a guy at work, and he used to sell shoes.
He said that the more you weigh it presses down on your feet and spreads them farther apart, when you lose weight your arches go back up to a more natural position. This is why people go down a shoe size with weight loss.
There isn't too much fat on feet to lose anyways.
I'm starting to feel mine get a bit loser, a girl I know who lost over 60 pounds went down two sizes as well, same as her sister who lost weight.
