You have Louboutin's!?! I am so jealous! I have a total shoe fetish and would love to own a pair of designers.
As I understand it, when you're carrying excess weight it causes your feet to spread, so when you lose weight, there's less gravity and force on them, so they get "smaller." I've only lost 16# so far and already my shoes feel different.
I've gone from a 6 1/2 - 7 to a 4 1/2 - 5. It happens with a lot of people that lose any significant amount of weight. So, yes, your feet will probably get smaller. Yay shoes!
Absolutely!! At my high weight, I had tons of cute little heels that wouldn't fit anymore. I've lost close to 50 lbs. now and my shoes feel much looser, and I can fit into all my heels again! When you lose weight- your whole body loses, including your feet!
Use those shoes as motivation to reach your goals! :-)
I used to be an 8.5W to a 9W depending on the shoe now I am an 8M to 8.5M (the 8.5 is in skechers shapeups and I know they run small), and that's only with 25 (or so) pounds lost.
The things I learn on this site! I first learned here that it was the additional weight that made high heels hurt (duh! I really hadn't put the two things together). Now I know that when I do go buy some new heels that I better have the size of my feet checked.
I gave myself the Louboutins for my 30th birthday and I wore them with a beautiful Michael Kors dress that will not even go up my legs now. Mind you I was size 16 for my 30th. I suddenly really wanna get back in to my shoes, I saved for months to get them.
I hope they do!! I have a closet full of heels that I used to wear. Now when I look at heels my feet start hurting. I am a shoe freak, but I usually buy mine at Payless. lol
My SIZE has only gone down to 7 from 8... but my width has gone WAY done and my feet are SO skinny. Like can see all the bones skinny. I can tell if I've had too much sodium if I can't see my bones lol!
I can't wait for my feet to start losing! At a normal weight, I'm anywhere from an 8 to a 9. I currently have a few 9.5's and a couple of 10's.
Like caryesings mentioned, I also am looking forward to wearing heels without my entire body screaming because of my weight! I'll have to start saving for my own pair of Louboutins
