Talking I think I am becoming one of THOSE people...........

Hello Everyone.........so tomorrow, May 1st marks my 2 month anniversary of my MUCH healthier living lifestyle.

I can't believe I have done this for 2 WHOLE MONTHS!! Seriously, I have never lasted past a couple of weeks before.

I have been at GYM goer now for a month as well and I LOVE IT! I go at least 5 times a week and if I don't go, I walk at home at least a mile.

It's a great feeling to become one of THOSE people.......those people that make excersize apart of their daily life. Like there is NO QUESTION about it, you just do it.

It feels good.

Thanks for all of the support and for all of the sharing everyone does!

HAVE A FABULOUS WEEKEND!

I have always disliked exercise. I hate the forced aspect of it I guess. I grew up naturally bookish and very clumsy. I hated PE in school, dressing down, sweating, showering in front of other people, ewwww. Then as I got older, as much as I knew exercise was good for me, I got so fat at 275 that I couldn't do it at all. Walking a block would wind me and cause aches in my feet, legs, back.

Yesterday was THE first time that I felt like actually exercising! I've lost 20 lbs and was this weight about a year ago but was eating just food, drinking alcohol, not sleeping well. I felt like crap. I am much healthier now this time around at 253....eating well has really helped. I think I will start to actually call what I am doing exercise and really work to make that my next good habit.

Thanks for the post!

Enjoyment of exercise just kinda sneaked up on me over the last few years.
I never planned to enjoy it. It just happened. Must be those endorphins!
Advice to those of you who currently dislike exercise: just force yourself to go at first, but don't over-exercise. Start slowly and the good feelings will come!
