Default Suggestions please...

I'm 4 lbs away...well as of this morning 3.8 lbs away...from 100 lbs lost and I need some way to celebrate it. Obviously I don't want to do it with food and I'm broke and just went clothes shopping so that's out. I was thinking about just hiking and spending a little time at the top to just reflect...but I hike all the time so that's not that special. I honestly just don't know how to celebrate it and I'll still have another 30 to lose after that so I feel like my ultimate goal is a ways away. What would you suggest?

What about an at home spa day? Mani, pedi, bubble bath, facial etc. ? That's always my favorite way to reward myself.

Book a massage?

Book a portrait photo?

Pursue your hobbies -- even the hiking!

Plan a fantasy vacation? (I do this all the time -- just like looking at travel stuff.)

A.

I think the hike is a great idea, and you can easily make it special.

1. Go someplace you've never been before, or where you never could have made it at your highest weight.

2. Pack yourself a healthy, portable lunch you can eat at the peak while you're reflecting. Maybe bring something to write a letter to yourself to encourage you that talks about how far you've come.

Basically, do your hiking thing, but do it in a way that says "Today is not just a hike! Today is special!"

what about treating yourself to a movie and then going to a meuseam or something ... thats something you dont do evrey day ...

you could take yourself for a manicure and pedicure ...

maybe a professional portrait as mentioned above could be realllly nice .....

maybe you could go clubbing or something with friends .... many clubs do ladies free b4 12

Wow well done, 100lbs that's amazing! Congratulations on your weight loss :-) I'm not sure about ways to celebrate but the above sounds great... If it was me I'd probably reward myself with a relaxing evening - candle-lit bubble bath, and a favorite film wrapped in my fluffy dressing gown >.<

write a letter to the you 5 years or 10 years from now. Seal it in an envelope and lock it away. Talk about how the present you struggled all the way to your current weight and got out alive and better than before and tell the you 5/10 years from now if anything is pulling you down to always keep her head up and to always have the strength!

I love this idea! I think I might write one just so I can pull it out if my future self ever finds herself struggling with maintaining.

On being so close to the Onederland mark! WOW!!

Do you have a list of things you like to do? Things that make you feel warm and fuzzy? I would make a list. I would also recommend doing something SPECIAL for this mark in your road!! Whatever you choose make it special! This is an AWESOME accomplishment!

We are doing a jig for you!!
