My son's grade one classs is having a one hundreds day party and I'm not quite sure what to pack for him.
So he has to choose one hundred items to put in the class "trail mix". The suggestions the teacher gave were mini marshmallows, chocolate chips, smarties, skittles, M&M's..... I'd like to do a healthy snack that the kids will eat so I'm thinking pretzel sticks?
Also they have to bring a round item because they are celebrating "round day" as well.
So teachers suggestions were: slices of pepperoni, timbits (doughnut holes), cookies, ritz crackers...... I thought about cucumber slices but obviously most kids wouldn't choose cucumber over a cookie, so I don't want to buy food and have it thrown away.
Any ideas that would be well received by most 6/7 year olds?
