Default Mediocre (?) Week 1 Results

I started last Sunday and lost ~4 pounds. I would be happy except I pretty much lost that much day 1/2 (water....) then just kind of hung out for the rest of the week. I'm concerned that if I don't really get myself going I'll just hang around this number for another week. I really didn't follow my plan to the T, in fact T/W/Tr were all lots of food days. I just can't do that this week. :-\

Wish me luck!

Hi...I have been working out and eating healthy since Dec 1, and have lost 4.2 pounds. But I'm still going to the gym 3 or 4 times a week, and turning down the bad food! I notice a difference in my body, and that's what keeps me going. I wish I was able to lose 4 pounds a week instead of 2 months!

Good luck to both of you! I haven't been dieting that long, just about a month. But all I can say is to REALLY stick to your diet plan. I am following a 1500 cal a day diet and its working really well for me and its not that hard to stick to. Just keep up the healthy choices and you will be fine. The past week has been really bad for exercise for me but I recommend working out as much as you can. Not so much for the health benefits ( which are great!) but because after a good workout you just FEEL good about yourself and that is a wonderful motivator.

In my book, any loss is a success! Especially if you work hard for it! I love the feeling of working by butt off and stepping onto the scale and seeing that hard work pay off!!
