Winter blues...hits me every year. Days are short, dark, cold, and snowy. I want to just curl up and sleep. I call it a form of hibernation. Sleep more, eat more, and wait for spring.
But not this winter. I have my SAD light on in the mornings, do housework, then leave for the gym! DH takes it a step father, and he runs 6 miles, 4 to 5 times a week, outside. IN Alaska. On the snow covered bike path. I think he's crazy, but he's loving it. It helps, having him motivated, to keep me motivated.
Maybe find a work-out partner, or at least a buddy, to share stories with. I find that helps keep me in line, as I get a little competitive and like to keep up with who ever I'm working out with. Left on my own, I'm not as accountable as I am with another person.
