Hi everyone, again!
I'm back after five months of slacking off the weight loss descent. (descents are harder than climbs, on mountains, or on scales, is it not?)
Lots been goin on... the SO had surgery and I was his caretaker... which made me realize that I cook WAY too spicy food, among other things. Then after that was the Project That Would Not Die at work, and all of a sudden I'm eating fast food and too tired to even THINK about the gym. And yes, those two things are related.
But I got not one but TWO little victories for you -
1) That scale now shows two pounds more than when I last logged in here. Sure, that's a victory - because it's been five months of very little exercise and not great food choices and my net weight gain is 7000 measly calories.
2) I went to a party the other night and the shutterbug friend of mine snapped a photo of me on the ground where I am NOT ashamed of my arms in short sleeves - first one that I can think of since 2004.
Seriously, y'all. Someone's been looking out for me. But now I'm going to take all that responsibility back and recontinue kicking my own butt to get in shape. I'm not going to hit that 120 goal by this December, but I'm going for 10-15 pounds less than I currently am before the year's up. What say?
