Ok we all need just that little bit of inspiration sometimes, or maybe a good hard kick to the rear....do you have any quotes or words of advice which help you?? Here are a few of mine...

Jillian saying....'just give me 5 more, 4, 3, 2, last 1, and we're done'

Nike.....'just do it'

This may sound odd, but there is a phrase that gets tossed around on the triathlon bulletin board I read that I find motivating when I am dragging a little bit:

Suck it up, Buttercup!

The pain of discipline is far less than the pain of regret.

Arnold H. Glasgow-
Your body is the baggage you must carry through life. The more excess the baggage, the shorter the trip.

Unknown Author-
You don't drown by falling in the water. You drown by staying there.

And of course I love the Ellen Degeneres quote in my signature!

From GI Jane, I modified the lines to come to: "Hooyah, Master Chief, I'm full of joy." And “Pain is your friend. It is your ally. It lets you know when you are seriously hurt. It reminds you to finish what you started, and get the **** home. But you know what the best thing about pain is? It lets you know your not dead yet!”

From The underground guide to warrior Fitness:
"The **** with genetics, I will determine my physical prowest and strength"
"My strength and power orignate from my intensity and devotion"

A year from now you'll be glad you started today. (Or, a year from now you'll wish you started today.)

It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that things are difficult. - Seneca

Life shrinks and expands in proportion to one's courage. - Anais Nin

You must do the thing you think you cannot do.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight that counts, it's the size of the fight in the dog.
