Default first 3 weeks?

Everything I read/hear says to expect 1-2lb loss average per week "after the first three weeks."

Does this mean people usually lose more, or less, during that time? Or is it just a crap-shoot and could go either way?

What was your personal experience with weight loss the first three weeks?

I didn't loose anything my first 3 weeks but then the week after I was all of a sudden 6 pounds less.. that has happened to me in the past in the begining of my weight loss efforts too.

I lost 6 pounds my first week, 1 pound my second, and .4 is my 3rd...I think it varies...and be cautious about when your little red friend is coming to town...

I lost more the first 3-4 weeks. A lot of it is water weight. After that things usually slow down to about 1-2 lbs a week. Also it depends on how much you weigh. The heavier you are the easier it may be to lose the weight especially in the first few weeks.
