does anyone else's digestive system get messed up when they diet? I feel much more bloated than usual. It's kind of embarassing and uncomfortable.

Mine does, ......mostly when I eat a lot of salads, and a lot of fruits.
I am not sure if it is normal or not!

I find that if I have a "treat" meal such as Chinese...I get extremely bloated...and lots of stomach pain. I've begun to wonder if I have IBS..it's usually after a larger meal than what i'm used to eating. It's gotten so bad that I have to come home after eating out and now I just try to avoid eating out altogether...which in the long run is a good thing .

If I don't drink enough water I feel bloated. If I eat a large meal out, or any fried foods and drink diet soda I get really bloated and constipated. I drink 10 glasses of water or tea a day now which helps me.

I'm the same......very often feeling bloated and constipated.......sorry for being too honest

Oh yes, totally agree with Badgerette - water helps me to deal with the first thing.
In the morning I'm trying to have the All Bran cereal - it helps me with the second thing

Me, me!

Been upping the fiber and the water but eh... things have still slowed down in certain departments. Usually I'm bloated after salty meals. It's hard to be on a diet and watch sodium too because frozen dinners used to save my butt from calorie ****.
