Default argh! Forgot oils again!

I was literally putting the last bite of spaghetti dinner in my mouth when I remembered that I forgot to add 2 tsp. of olive oil on top of it. This is the 2nd day in a row that I have forgotten my oil! I generally only remember every 3rd day. There was a little bit of olive oil in the sauce recipe, but not much per serving. ARGH. I'm getting sick of this forgotten oil business.

That's it, I'm breaking out the blender and making Hillybilly Housewife's Magic Milk Shake tonight!!! I have the canola oil and the powdered nonfat milk. I was holding off until I could buy soy lecithin at the store, but I guess I'll just use the 5 seconds of nonstick spray instead (kinda gross, but I'll survive!) I'm also undecided on whether to spend points on sugar or use sweet and low.

Here I come, O Mighty Magic Milk Shake!

I often forget to have oil, too, and I used to think it was fine to avoid the extra points (I'm doing Flex), but I've noticed that if I go too long without it, it causes, shall we say, digestive abnormalities... Ugh!

I saute everything in canola or olive oil. Then I make my own salad dressing. I have a hard time NOT using my oil everyday. Have you tried the oven fries recipe on our board? I make it 1-2 times a week. It gives me a whole potato cut into fries and 2 teaspoons oil. It's awesome.

I forget the oil, too! I do take fish oil and flax oil capsules, does that count?

I keep a small carafe of olive oil on the table. Hard to forget when it's right in front of me when I'm eating.

That is a great ideas susan! If I have popcorn, I put it on the popcorn with my 1 tblsp of light butter, which makes the popcorn taste so much better, plus I'm getting in my oil.
Also Susan, you have lost a tremendous amount of weight. WTG!

Just wanted to say: I remembered the oils today! 2 tsp. olive oil on whole wheat pasta with a beef and tomato sauce. Yummy!
