Since Paula asked someone to post the next challenge, I thought I would make an executive decision. In the spirit of alternating an exercise challenge with a food challenge, it is time for an exercise challenge. Our last exercise challenge was to increase our time by 15 min at least three days that week. I propose we commit to any type of exercise/activity at least 5 days next week.
I'm in! I know I will be doing water aerobics at least once next week. I'll have to look at my dvds and do some abs or use my weights and work out my arms, go bicycling, etc. Wish my pool was ready to swim in. I would do laps every day!
I will be able to do that soon.
I'm very excited! I got my exercise DVD's that I ordered today. I will exercise five times this week using them. I may not be too vigorous as I will just be learning, but any movement is better than none at all.
The dvd's are called "10 Minute Trainer". They were a little pricey, but so far, I like the ones I have done. There are five workouts that last 10 minutes. They are cardio, total body, yoga, lower body, and abs. You can do one a day or combine them. The package came with resistance bands that you use with the dvd's. I have to admit, they really get my heart rate up and I'm a little sore today. I think the web site is called "Beach Body". I bought them through an infomercial (never done that before). They also have a 30 day guarantee if you are not satisfied.
I did the cardio yesterday, and today I did the total body. I do have to modify a bit because of my shoulder, and they show the modifications in the demonstrations.
I'm in , I just found a whole bunch of exercise shows from Yoga, pilates, aerobics and many more on free on demand from my cable company. So my challenge is to do one of those a day plus my bike
I've done nothing yet as well. Hopefully I can get something in tonight, although I have to visit my dad for awhile. I shall see what I can come up with. I wish my pool was ready
