Another Newbie joining in :)
Hello all! I just found this website and am looking forward to becoming an active member! I have been on the road of weight loss and trying to get in shape for a few weeks now and started feeling a little "discouraged" last night and thought maybe if I find a forum or something like that, it might help get the motivation up again.
A little about me... I am a stay at home mom of 4 dd's, 11, 8, and twins that are 6. My dh and I are going to take a kid-free vacation this summer in celebration of our 10 year anniversary and I decided I need to lose the extra fluff so I can feel good about having to put a swim suit on again!
I have lost 9 pounds to date, can't tell where, but that is what the scale reads. I usually just use my treadmill for 1 hour to 1.5 hours each morning with a little ab work on my balance ball and upper body on the bowflex 3-4 times per week. I guess it didn't take me 3 weeks to get this "fluffy" so I shouldn't expect to shed it all in 3 weeks, but I guess the cross-over into my 30's did a doozy to my metabolism and it's just not as quick to see results as it was in the 20's!
That about sums it all up, and its time to hit the treadmill. Looking forward to "meeting" you all!
