Thanks Laurel. I think she has decided that she is now a drone instead of a manager. So, she has packed up anything vaguely personal and professional that is not part of her new job and moved them home.
. Her office (shared, now) is going to be a bit drab.
On the other hand, I persuaded her to go out last night and meet some of our friends at a local bookstore/restaurant for dinner. If we had stayed home, she would have been in bed at 7:30 and up at 10, 12, 2, 4 ect.
Sigh. Change is hard and if I had any idea that this new position was going to be so beneath her (with the same pay as before), I would have said no way.
