Talking Peanut Butter Lovers, read this!

A few days ago someone on the 100lb forum mentioned she tried a new peanut butter product and recommended it. I had given up pb during the last year because as all of you know, pb really uses up the ww points! I tried her suggestion, and have to tell you all that if you love PB, give it a try!

Here it is:

Better 'n Peanut Butter. Comes in a jar and is available at Trader Joe's. It's got that same great peanut butter flavor, and is made from peanuts, but the nutritional amounts are way better....100 calories, 2.5g fat, 0 fiber per 2 tablespoon serving. So for me, I normally use 1T of pb, that's only 1 point! It is not quite as "stiff" as traditional pb, but I found that the consistancy worked better for dipping my apple slices in than the regular or reduced fat Jiff. The jar (about 16 oz, I think) was $3.69, and Trader Joe's has a policy of giving a full refund on anything you try that you don't like.

Just wanted to share!

WOW!!!! I am a peanut butter fanatic so I'll have to try this out. The closest Trader Joe's to me is about 45 min away in the big city so next time I'm out that way I'll pick up a jar (or two!). Thanks for the post!

I've also found it at Target, and Wild Oats. However it was $5.69 for a jar. It's totally worth it though if you love PB. I love it with apples!

PB2....I've never heard of it before! Looking at the website it does actually look powdered. Do you mix just the amount you want with water? Also, is it available in stores or only online? Thanks for the info!

I adore PB2! It's superior in texture and taste to Better 'n Peanut Butter. You mix 2 tablespoons powder with 1 tbsp water - it counts as only 1 point. I keep the jar in the fridge and only mix what I'm using right then. Using sugar-free jelly, PB2 and ww bread, I have a 2-point PB&J sandwich daily!

I buy Better N Peanut Butter in BULK!!! I love that stuff! I haven't tried PB2 yet. Everytime I try to buy it online, they're site gives me problems. Oh well.
