I did pretty good ...but now that I had my 6 week postpartum checkup..I can kick it up in gear...
So my goals for July:
-Lose 5-8 pounds by August 1st
-Drink tons of water...
-Jog at least 3 times a week
-Get back into ALL of my pre pregnancy clothes..and buy me some new things
Hmm, I haven't made any goals but weight-loss! Guess I ought to be more specific with myself, huh?
- Continue drinking 120+ ounces of water per day,
- Continue exercising at least 5 days per week,
- Learn more about the calories I'm consuming when I eat out,
- Lose 4 pounds!
I have no idea yet at what rate I'll starting losing (if at all), so I'm making sure my first and most immediate weight-loss goal is reasonable for me.
My July goals are to lose 10 pounds, and cut down on my fat intake. I know I am capable of losing 10, but I have been rather lose on the things I eat and my calorie range. I want to stay within my 1400-1600 range STRICTLY, even on my cheat days. I also want to get back into the swing of excercising. I went to the gym on Thursday and Friday, so that's a start. I want to go atleast 3-4 times a week for 35-40 minute cardio.
june was alright for me, i lost 4 pounds, but i think i could've done a teeny bit better with my eating/weight loss. as for july, i'm going to kick it up a little more!
-lose 4-6 pounds by end of july/first week of august
-eat only egg whites
-cereal with fruit for breakfast, no more eating in the staff cafeteria for lunch (the food is way too salty, and can be greasy!)
- go for a walk after dinner
-workout on the treadmill/elliptical at a higher resistance/intensity
- GET MORE SLEEP.
Well I met my June goal a few days early, and I had made it an easy goal. This next month I am going to be super hardcore with my weightloss and really try my best. My goals:
- To NOT be overweight (according to BMI) by August 1st. That means a loss of 10.5 lbs!
- Not nibble so much, count everything eaten on Daily Plate
- Keep up my exercise routine - a least 6 days a week
- Be more active in daily life, beyond exercise
anndd I think thats it. It will be hard to reach the 10.5 lbs mark, but I think I can handle it. Depending on how much I weight tomorrow morning, it might be a bit less but we'll see. If I think of any more goals, I'll add them!
June was ok, I did loose 9lbs but gained 2 back. Its like, I would do good for 2 days, then just quit for 2 days, then do good again for another 2 days. I do not want July like that, and its not going to be. I'm going to do good everday in July because I would like to loose at least 10lbs this month.
JULY GOALS:
Loose between 8-10lbs
Right in blog everynight before I go to bed
No snacking after supper
I also wanted to add no fast food this month!!!

I didn't have any set June goals, but I lost 12 pounds anyway!
Here are my July goals:
-Lose 8 pounds so that by the end of the month, I'm no longer overweight!
-Go on a 2-week carb detox sometime this month (I think it'll help me get rid of those 8 pounds)
-Continue my intense workout regimen
-Stay within a 1,300-1,800 calorie range WITHOUT weekend slip-ups
I only lost about 1.5 pounds in June, mostly due to spending the first half of the month passing the flu back and forth and then my youngest getting an ear infection.
So my July goals are:
Be more strict about counting calories.
Continue walking 4 days a week.
Make myself eat something small for breakfast every day (I'm not a breakfast person but I know that doing it helps me lose weight).
Hit 185 or below (7+ pound loss).
My first full month to make goals. Woohoo! I'm actually very excited.
Lynsey's July Goals *get into or past the 180s 12-15 pounds would be excellent *keep drinking at least 100oz. of water *keep up with the Couch-to-5K plan and do WATP video whenever not outside exercising *keep putting foods into daily plate and stick to number of calories allowed *lower sodium intake
