Black Bean Hummus
I found this recipe on Allrecipes.com. This is a nice alternate to Deb's amazing hummus. This is a bit spicey, but YUMMY. I DON'T put the garnishes on. Any other comments are from the recipe submitter.
Black Bean Hummus
This is the absolute best hummus I have ever had. It goes
___great with some toasted pita bread. Add more lemon juice if
___this hummus tastes like it needs a little extra kick. Prep

1 clove garlic
1 (15 ounce) can black beans;
___drain and reserve liquid
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 1/2 tablespoons tahini 3/4 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon paprika
10 Greek olives
Directions
1 Mince garlic in the bowl of a food processor. Add black
___beans, 2 tablespoons reserved liquid, 2 tablespoons lemon
___juice, tahini, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and
___1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper; process until smooth,
___scraping down the sides as needed. Add additional seasoning and
___liquid to taste. Garnish with paprika and Greek olives.
