Monday 8-1-05
My usual walk around the farm in the am.:) A short hike up the back hill (Straight up) to put cans on the exaust of the D2 Cat in case it rains. I call that my buns workout - I may try to go up there again - if I go all the way to the end of the road DH made - it is about 6-700 feet maybe more up a very steep hill - may only take me 5 mins to walk up but that is like 5 mins on the stair master and I could never do more than 10 on that thing - ouch!:D A panicked race around the house and pasture last night to close the gates before my horses got into the field next to us and just kept going and going (phew!) Talk about getting the old heart rate going! I stupidly did not lock the gate correctly on the pasture they were in after feeding last night - when I heard hooves in the driveway I thought it was the neighbors horses (they always get out) then I went out and oh crap! it is my horses - race race race - pant wheeze!:dizzy: |
Monday: 70 minutes of walking

Ha ha...PJ...your exercize sounds SOOO much more entertaining than mine! :)
I walked two more miles on the beach last night after supper, with the dog & the bf...then I walked for about a mile this morning. Too crowded since I slept in so I came back early. Hopefully I will get some weight lifting in this afternoon. |

Thurs....2 mile walk with dog dragging me along. :) I think the dog counts as weights/resistance. lol.

Wed nite - 1 hr hose and pump training at the DCRFD. Broke a sweat, got my hands dirty, banged my knee - whine.

Today: 17 miles on my new bike. My parents invited me over for a trail ride/blackberry picking session. It was really fun. This is going to be a great commute bike.

I did another walk with the dog. I don't think my walks are doing much good the last few weeks. Its SOOO miserably humid & hot that I just don't put what I should into it. I cannot wait for Fall to arrive! |
Heh, I'm actually not sore at all. I thought I might be a little today. The ride was pretty darn flat though :)

Monday Night:
brisk hike up the back hill - only 350 ft but practically straight up and down - plus I had a gallon of water in each had to water DH deer garden - he likes to plant lettuce and stuff up in the back to attract the deer. ;) Definately a buns workout and cardio = got the old blood pumping - :dizzy: |
Gak! I haven't exercised in days...Today I managed a 30 minute walk at lunch time.

Very fast two mile walk tonight! Yay! First REAL (as opposed to wallowing along daydreaming) sweat in a couple weeks if I am honest about it! Felt Great!

I finally exercised after a few weeks! God I feel icky going that long without...anyways, some yoga and a walk with my dog...takin it slow again and building my way back up in hopes to lose a few more pounds

Sunday: 45 minute dog walk I also got in about 6 hours of heavy cleaning/decluttering over the weekend |

I would love to know your schedule - when you work - what your daily activities are - I need motivation and as I have mentioned before - you do inspire - :D I am hopelessly lazy and addicted to the computer or TV - I have a million projects I should be doing that arent getting done and what do I do on Sunday? Lay on my butt all day or chat on the web. :devil: Anyway, Babbler Off. :lol: |
Haven't been here for a bit but I have been alternating yoga and pilates each day for 30 minutes per day. Not seeing much improvement poundage wise but I am getting a bit more flexible ;)

Today: 30 minute walk, 60 minute bike commute... the dog wants a walk... I'm still debating ;) ajandpj99, my schedule is kind of crazy because of my long commute. I leave the house at 4:40 and get home about 5:45. I get lots of exercise in because I walk with a coworker at lunchtime, and go to aquacize with my mom (so I have to show up, heh) Then there's the dog that begs to be walked the moment I get in the door. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the long days because I'm only home for about 90 minutes in the evening, then I go to the pool and get home at bed time. |
4 miles with the dog yesterday, almost 2 miles this morning & will hopefully get another 2 before bedtime.

I did end up taking the dog for a 45 minute walk on Wednesday, I'm a pushover ;)
Thursday: 30 minute walk 60 minute bike commute I skipped aquacize.. bad chris! I was just beat though. I think I just didn't drink enough water yesterday. I'm trying to remedy that today :) |
