All of last week involved a lot of walking while toodling around town and working at a convention where the convention centre hallways are verrryyyyy looooong - so I am counting that as last week's exercise. :lol:

Took the dog for an hour long romp this morning, now I'm off for a weekend away with my hubby and my oldest friend... er the friend I've had the longest I mean, she's really not that old! teehee

I've been walking 2 miles every morning faithfully this month, and I've walked another two in the evening about fifty percent of the time. I think I'm starting to get shin splnts again though, which is weird since I guess I tend to think that comes from running...which I most emphatically DON"T do any of. lol.

Saturday and Sunday: I got up early and walked/jogged around town before breakfast. I did about an hour both days.

I walked Tory two miles this morning before breakfast. Once again I missed last nights walk. Bad girl!

Finally got up early enough to go to the gym - only 20 minutes of cardio, but my full weight circuit. I have a personal trainer apt. tomorrow morning so I'll have to get up and go again. Yay!

Today: 60 minute bike commute, 30 minute lunch walk.

More dog walking. I think its time to start counting lugging my art/tackle box to studio classes. My shoulders are SO sore.

I'm so jealous...a personal trainer sounds great! Don't you feel more...well...acountability for showing up & giving it your all? I wish I could afford one at the moment. Good luck with it!

I only walked a mile this morning because I had to run home & pack Nates lunch, I forgot the night before. I went to the gym on the Air Base after school though & did a light work out. It felt great. I probably could have lifted more but I have a tendancy to do too much then I can't lift anymore for six mths while I heal. So....I probably looked like a wimp but I'm sure I'll be able to feel it. I was doing fairly high reps.

Tuesday: 15 min walk, 10 min weights Today: 110 min cleaning, 45 min shopping...still hoping to get in a walk |

Dawnlizbeth: I bought a 3-session package plus "fitness assessment" from my gym. It was a bit of a splurge but I was in an exercise rut so I thought it would be worth it and it was! She is very creative in her torture methods. But I have enough different exercises to mix and match and not do the same routine for a couple weeks, and that's really good becuase I get bored easily.
Tani, wow, a 60 minute bike commute! That is hard core! And congrats on the patch job! Today I did 30 minutes of high-intensity cardio, plus 10 minute warm up and 5 minute cool down. |
I took Tory for a long walk before school. I had to skip the gym as I spent the afternoon at the mini cooper place trying to see just how low a payment I could get. Gas is 3.20 for regular today!

Sept 2: Walked 2 hours total

Did a short walk with Tory & even managed to drag my bf along. He's looking slightly plumper in the mid section since I started feeding him so well. :)

I just did the second workout my personal trainer put together for me, but by myself. It was not any easier!

Went for a walk last night iwth my daughter and the dog, so really he took us for a walk. Wasn't very long but it was a start again. Have a great labour day weekend everyone.
