Evening all.

I haven't been around much as I have been sick with a bead chestcold. I did feel well enough to go see Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy though I really enjoyed it. Loved the books and tv series so it was nice to see a movie finally made.

Mauvais, we're right on track together. I've caught your cold, and I'm reading the Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

You two are silly!
I hope you both feel better soon.

Not much going on here, really. Only 52 days until my vacation! Other then that just puttering around at work, and trying to relax at home. Nothing exciting.

"hoodle doo" I like that.

I have been around, but nothing much to say. My days are pretty much putter around work, enjoying the quiet. Then head home to watch tv, movie or read a book. Throw in a phone call or IM session with the boy. Go to sleep. Repeat. On weekends it is putter around the house instead of work.

I would love to get Den back in here!!! Neither of our butts tend to stick in here very long lately.

Had a lovely day today I caught up on some housework and then went and enjoyed the sun by taking a walk down to Little Italy for some lunch and some gelato

I also came across a lovely little used book store and bought a new book and stayed to chat with the owner and his friend. Nice people, nice shop, definetely going to pop in their again.

Hope you all had a great Saturday

Squeak, your life sounds like a DREAM to me! Someday you'll be married with kids (or something similar), and you'll look back on these days and think, "Geez! I had it GOOD!"

Mauvais, where's the bookstore?
I have some perennials in little pots for you whenever you want them...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all the mothers, aunts, mothers to be, grandmas and anyone else who loves and cares for a child, even if it didn't come out your body. Remember the African proverb - It takes a village to raise a child!

Tiki, Happy Mother's Day to you, too! And to all of the other gals here.

I love that proverb... it's so very true.

Why don't you let me know when you're home, and I'll wheel my little wagon around the corner.

Happy Mother's Day to all you moms.

New mantra: never go to mom's house hungry, never go to mom's house hungry. I should know better. I don't think I was too bad, though I was in at the cheese, starving waiting for my very late sister to show.

It was a beautiful day, outside in my parent's yard watching my kids & the nieces playing. I hope everyone got out to enjoy!

You have a late sister, too, ggbun? Mine always rolls in at the last minute and makes a grand entrance. I love her very much, but...
