Aphil,

You get a TON of points just for being able to drink soy milk! I have tried and tried and just can't acquire a taste for it. Sigh.

I actually LOVE the chocolate Silk...some of the other brands I don't like very well...this one has the best flavor in my opinion. I also like the roasted soy nuts as a snack as well...GenSoy I think is the brand...the flavored ones are good.

Ooooo I love chocolate soy milk too!! I drink the "light" 8th continent one. I'll have to try the silk one. Yum!! :t:

Let's see...I've managed to keep the house spiffy since doing all of those chores. I gave the rats a bubble bath and thoroughly cleaned their cages, then cleaned the bathroom. YAY me!! Now if I could only muster up the energy to mop the floor.

Today we finally moved some more rocks. We got the whole one side of the yard done!! Now all we have left to do is the path by the gate and we're DONE finally with our year long backyard landscaping project. THANK GOD!! Only problem is...we have more rock than we needed. Looks like I'll be spreading river rock all over the front yard.

I also managed to transplant 2 Aloe Vera plants and re-potted a butterfly bush. Then I laid out more bark ground cover to fix my bare spots. I'll take pics when it's all done so you can see what I've done. The dog is a bit tiffed...she can't roll in the dirt anymore.

HORRAY!!!!!!!! MY BACK YARD IS FINALLY LANDSCAPED!!!!!!

We finally finished the rest of it today. We scooped and spread out the rest of the gravel, and then built the stone path and river rocked it. Then I added some potted cacti and potted flowers to the patio. YAY I'm DONE!! I started this landscaping project last year...we got the rocks in August, now it's November and it's finished!! And it looks so nice...if I do say so myself.

Now my only problem is...I have extra river rock. Ugh... This means I will be filling in gaps in my front yard now with lovely river rock.

Noodles, do you have any pics? It sounds lovely, and very exotic (to this Ottawa girl)!

Not yet, Ellis. I was going to take some today, but it's pouring and freezing cold here!! It's probably 50° F out!! (Probably warm to you though... ) I'll take some when I get back from our Thanksgiving holiday trip.

My accomplishment yesterday was that while unpacking a box for the kitchen I found a bag of Reeses Peices and although I stood there for a minute trying to decide whether to eat them or not I finally just decided to throw them in the trash!

Damn Mauv...I wouldn't of been able to do it. I would of gobbled them up!! Unless of course they were like 2 years old or something.

My accomplishment for yesterday: I dyed my hair!! YAY!! Well with a little help on the back from my daughter. But the rest I did myself! I just hope I didn't miss any spots.

Cool! What colour did you dye your hair?

Another thing that I managed to do this week for 3 days in a row is to make the lunches in the morning and not nibble while doing it! I caught myself mindlessly bringing a stray piece of cheese up to my mouth and then thought better of it so I tossed it into the salad I was making instead. Geez, you've really got to watch out for those bits and bites - they can really add up!

PINK!!!!!!!

Just kidding..I dyed it light brown. As close to my natural color as possible. Although it looks a bit darker than light brown right now. Weird....

My accomplishment was having my house ready on time for my housewarming which was on Saturday - everything was put together and cleaned and set up - now all I have to do is decorate for Christmas!
