Default Christmas challenge chat week 9

good morning everyone!

Hope you all had a spooktacular Halloween!
We actually had some trick or treaters this year which made DH very happy -he handed out all the candies and carved an awesome pumpkin - he is such a big kid

Acckk! I just realized that we are only 8 weeks away from Christmas!
Guess I better get my tush in gear if I want to make my goal!

I had a great weekend. The wedding was wonderful and I cried through out the entire thing. The party was fabulous. I ate too much and drank too much. We rented a hotel room close to the location of the wedding and in the morning I went out to breakfast and ate a huge meal. 3 eggs, ham, bacon, sausage, toast, potatoes and gravy! Then continued eating allllll day long. This morning I was shocked to realized I had only gained three pounds...I thought for sure it would have been between 5-7. I guess it was all the dancing I did at the wedding.

My daughter went out trick or treating for just over an hour and wanted to go home cause it was a little rainy. So it was an early night for me..Was fun seeing all the children in their costumes.

Have a great day....got go drink tons of water and try to get rid of those 3 pounds..

I am still hovering around 185.5/186. At least it is down from 188 since this challenge started.

I can't seem to remember what my goal was...but considering that for the last few weeks I have been up and down and now I am pretty much where I started, maybe I need to make a new goal that would be doable. So, My goal for Christmas is 10 pounds. It's going to be alot of work but I have nothing scheduled to sabotage it until the holidays so I have no excuses.

Checked it out and my original goal was from 150 down to 135, think I'll stick to that than!

Hope that everyone is well have had a crazy couple of weeks, spent all of my off day's last week helping DH redo my MIL bathroom. I was off today, cleaned house really well - got some exercise. I am down a couple of pounds but not too great. I am TOM and that is like pushing like every three weeks now. So now it is like I am PMS'ing ever 2 weeks.... and gaining fluid weight every 2 weeks so grrr it is driving me crazy.

This AM I was at 162.5 I am pleased, due to Halloween candy.

I really doubt I will make my christmas goal. I have changed shifts though and these guys actually don't buy candy and donuts every day or cook fattening foods multiple times a week. It is almost like I have some dieting buddies at work now so it isn't so hard. When I had gotten back down around 150 my other crew was saying I was relapsing into my EDO. Just because I was losing weight doesn't mean I am binging or purging... which I actually did yesterday. but it was the first time in a long time and it was only once and what I ate made me nauseaous so I felt compelled to puke- so I did... well it happens every once in a while.

I fell off the wagon for a couple of days, but I managed to refocus again, which is good. I am finding that I can fall into a streak of bad behaviour very easily and that it builds upon itself if I do not make a titanic effort to get back OP.

I can really relate to the workplace food issue: that is kind of how I gained a bunch of weight to begin with, when I got my first desk job and there were treats every day. In my current job there is no food except what I bring in for myself, so I can bring in pears rather than cookies.

Hi everyone. I've been reading the posts but I haven't been posting myself. I went to my doctors office and got a definate weight number to post. 186. I'm thrilled. I've been weighing in at 189 at home about 2 weeks ago. I don't know that I will make my actual goal for Christmas but I'm just thrilled to be losing anything at this point. My doctor stressed that I really need to be doing 4 days of exercise instead of the measly 2 I have been doing lately (I added measly, she didn't). So I'm really going to try harder to that. I've done well with cutting out sugary treats and sugary sodas. I just don't eat vegetables or fruit and don't know how to fit them into my schedule. Hope you're all doing well.
