Well, yesterday was just a bad day, but I managed to stay OP. I found out I have a minor bacterial infection, which was triggered by stress. So I'm on antibiotics for a week. I guess I'll have to eat a lot of yogurt . My OB/GYN and I also decided that I should try taking the pill again. I tried it in High School and it made me violently depressed during PMS, so I've had some hesitation. Other than that I just couldn't get motivated yesterday. I was late for my only class and then when I tried to leave and go home we had this huge rain/hail storm that lasted an hour. I wasn't about to go wait for the bus in that!

Well, its sunny outside today, even though it's below 50*F. I'm eating my yogurt, so that I can take my meds. Hopefully today will be a better day.

Well, I got through my conference in D.C. without gaining which is amazing becuase I really fell off the wagon. However I did walk a ton, so maybe it all balanced out. At any rate I am down one pound from last week so maybe the five days of being very good trumped the two days of conference food. I swer they set it up so you eat all the time.

I am tired becuase I stayed up late at the conference and then went to a concert last night that did not get out till late. Still Springsteen, REM, plus John Fogarty and Neil Young (which was a total suprise). It was worth it, plus I was in the general admission floor section and ended up 30 feet from the stage. And I am not even a Springsteen fan or anything, but wow. Just wow.

Well woke up this morning and those two pounds were gone. Finally starting to feel like I am part of the challenge. Remained OP 100% for a full two days (including alcohal) and I have watched the cholesterol even though I am still alittle confused about daily limits. I have given up cheese which was something I allowed myself before THE TEST.

Hannah - I hope you like yogurt!

Have a great day all!

Mistress Mavais Good one!

Sorry I haven't been around much but I have been busy with house stuff. We take possession on the 14th!

Hannah- I had one of those eating days last night No matter what I ate I didn't feel full and I ended up eating a handful of chips, a piece of chocolate and some Reeses Pieces!

I did get a bit of a work out by moving boxes around the house and packing

SeeCat – I’m totally envious! Springsteen, REM, *and* Neil Young??? Wow! I grew up a complete Springsteen fan – I had everything he ever made. It’s sort of waned a bit over the last years, the last album he made that I really loved was “The ghost of Tom Joad” (and I still play it fairly often). And I’m still buying every album REM make!

Mauvais – best wishes on the new house! It really exciting!

My eating these days is fairly OK. I don’t eat very restricted, I just try to eat healthy and eat enough fruits, vegetables and proteins. And add in some of the foods I excluded while I was losing weight – and eat it in moderation. It’s surprisingly hard after years and years of just having two modes: on diet or off diet.

My challenge has been kaput for almost 3 weeks. My days are just too long. I was getting up at 5 to go the gym, then work til 5, then cheer practice til 8, home by 9PM, the homework for kids, dinner, showers, light house keeping, in bed by 11:30 and after two weeks, I got a headache that lasted 3 days-when I was finally able to get more than 5 hours of sleep. I'll be so glad when cheer season is over. It is requiring so MUCH of my time that my health is suffering, my kids are tired, its just awful.

Tiki.

I am kind of a Neil Young freak. I have seen him once with Crazy Horse, once with Crosby Stills and Nash and once solo acoustic. The thing that amazes me abvout him is how consistently good the albums are that he is putting out.

Congrats on the new house. That is so exciting, expecially when you first walk in and know that it is yours but before you are trying to unpack and tetris all of your boxes into the place

Tiki, I would love to send a bunch of energy your way to help, but unfortunately I don't have any to spare as well. Hope things lighten up for you real soon!

Yesterday was my daughter's b-day and I made a roast with all the trimings. I behaved and had a couple of small roasted potatoes, a spoonful of corn and and the leanest part of the roast. I did not feel deprived at all. she had great fun and loved all her gifts.

Woke up this morning with another pound gone and today we are going to the mall. My daughter wants to see the movie Shark Tales and while she and my nephew are doing that I am going window shopping. It should be a relaxing day.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am not going to the family dinner this year, instead I am going to stay home and relax while I have the house to myself. I am truly thankful for that!

Guess everyone is having a busy weekend. Saturday night I went to a benefit for my fiance's second cousin, she has cancer and a little girl (8) So all her friends and family got to together to help raise money so get her by for a while. It was a great sucess, they had a silent auction and my fiance bought me a manicure and pedicure at a popular spa..I am looking forward to that.

A great thing is that I had not seen Shawn's (finace) parents in about two months and when I walkd in they did not recongize me. I showed up after later because I took the kids to the movies. I went over and said hi and they just nodded at me. Later when I was beside Shawn they came over and greeted me again. At first i thought they were mad at me but after I told them I had already said hello they said "that was you?" I had a great night. Several gentlemen folled me around which made Shawn laugh

I decided to go to the family dinner yesterday and Shawn's sister freaked out. She even swore when she saw me! and she is not one to say a bad word! All in all in was a very motivating weekend and I am ready to finally lose those last 20 pounds.

Hope eveyone had a amazing weekend as well. I am giong to be super cleaning today as I have completely ignored the apartment this weekend. Take care.

I think my metabolism is starting to rise a little bit. I really slacked off in exercise last week, yet I'm down two again. So I'm within 1 pound of my low weight since I started here. I plan to have good news to report again next week, AFTER exercise!

Well I guess I am losing my TOM weight, this AM I am down to 164 was 168 on saturday. So it is actually a 1 pound loss from last official weigh in. I have been OP for 2 weeks and lost 3 pounds. At this rate I might reach goal by 2010. I have a wedding to go to in 2 weeks I would like to lose another couple of pound prior to that, since I am going to have to buy something to wear. I hate shopping, but do not have anything seasonal that is appropriate for a wedding= nothing fits.

Well keep it up guys.
