I donated a bag full of old clothes to the dead and blind people that come by monthly. This time though I got the phone # so whenever I have more donations I can just call and they'll pick up the next day. Oh boy..time to start flinging out even more stuff!!
To the dead and blind people? I didn't know dead people needed used clothing.
I am preparing to a possible move. So I have been making a plan in my mind so far but haven't done anything. We've got about a million little stuffed animal friends that are going to have to go to a new home... and soon! Whether we move or not!
My main focus this month is going to be culling down on non-essential items in our home - like toys and chochkys and duplicate items.
Still striving for the zen-like feeling in our home. Someday... someday we'll get there!
well this weekend, i redid my whole desk and all my papers. actually got a second desk fo rmy computer to get it off my bill pay roll top desk. ok ok i know that adding usually means more clutter but in this case think streamlined.
still to clean thru 1) my clothes 2) my Daughter's clothes 3)kitchen cabinets 4) laundry room..

Oops!! I meant DEAF and Blind!! LOL!!! Bad bad typo!!!!!!!!
I can just see it now...two blind corpses driving the truck..knocking at the door to pick up donations.
I spent Saturday cleaning the kitchen and the front entrance of my apartment.
Vacuumed, dusted, washed all the cupboard doors and counters, as well as the walls and baseboards. Then I cleaned out and rearranged the kitchen cupboards and tossed/donated items I don't use or have duplicates of.
Sunday I did the same thing in the bathroom and then dusted and rearranged the bookshelves in the livingroom.
Hey that's exactly what we did yesterday, Mauv!! Cleaned house from top to bottom!! It sparkles...
I flinged 75% of my magnets OFF of the fridge. Somehow the kitchen looks bigger now.
Going to fling some more stuff around here today...OutOUTOUT!!!
Then going to try to sell some on the auction sites and take a load to the swap meet. Trying to be clutter-free in 2006!! (Figure it gives me a year to de-clutter every nook and crannie.)
