That butterfly celtic tat IS very pretty! I'm grateful today that we have the most lovely cool weather here in Virginia! I can't believe it's August, it feels like September. I'm grateful that my classes went well this week. and very, very grateful that things are still going so well with Nate! I've never had a relationship that did not feel like quite a lot of Work, this one does not feel like it at all! :)

I am VERY grateful that I did in fact get the job!!!!!!

I am however saddened that because of my current employers track record of firing people when they give notice, I cannot do the morally right thing and notify them without going 10 days at least with no pay. I'm really kind of burdened by this, but I gotta cover my own *** first. I hate to quit with no notice. *sigh*

But I'm still gonna celebrate over my getting the new position! :)

congrats on the job!!! I know how that giving notice thing can be...especially hard when it comes to a job that easily lets go of people who put in a notice (you'd think they'd rather know in advance...kinda setting themselves up for lots of no shows and such)

anyways i'm thankful for getting up early today...ok not really but i am thankful for my coffee right about now ;)

Just feeling grateful today and thought I would dig this thread out of the closet.
I am so lucky to have a great husband who loves me and all my quirks, two great kids, I have a home, car, food, all the essentials of life , unlike so many people around the world whoa re doing without, and have lost everything including family memebers. My heart goes out to all.

I too am grateful to have all that I have when others have none. I am thankful that it rained hard this weekend - lowering the fire hazard even more. (now we worry about mudslides LOL - never happy ;)

I am thankful for the friends I have made and those that I have kept over the years.

I am grateful that my aunt made it back here safely after her trip to Portland.

And I am still thankful for all you chicks that keep me going. :D

Nobody was thankful in October? - perhaps since Thanksgiving is coming up - in the US - this thread will get some traffic.

Currently very thankful that I work at home and dont have to commute in this ucky weather. Rain, wind and mud - ick. :p

Thankful that DH is such a hard worker and does a great job of keep up on the outside chores.

Grateful the jukebox on my laptop works when I have 90 other applications running. LOL :lol: :carrot:

A monthly thread sounds lovely :) I'm grateful that I decided not ride my bike to work today. It's raining cats, dogs & ferrets out there! (ferrets because they always run sideways and that's how the rain is falling) :lol:

I am happy and thankful that:

1) The roads are dry so I can whizz home on my bike

2) I stopped eating chocolate after 2...

3) I can laze around at work and not do much :D

4) That I am going on holiday and that I have the strength not to eat everything in sight once I get there!

I'm thankful that I'm off from work today and have three days to organzie my house.
I'm thankful that four of my dear friends are coming here on Sunday to help me do work in the house, replace faucets, put in some ceiling fan light kits.
I'm grateful for my work and determined to put in more hours, make some more money to pay that terrifying mortgage, and return every call in my voice mailbox today!!! TODAY!!
and I'm grateful for my family and their incredible love and support.

I am grateful that my walking buddy has time for a hike today.

I am thankful that my hubby let me out of helping him string fence.

I am grateful that I dont have any thing else to confess this week in the "Confessions" thread.
