I couldn't do a book purge either. I have books from when i was a child that i just unpacked from a box and put on my bookshelf. I don't ever plan on reading them, or having children, but the thought of giving them up makes me sad. When I was younger I had a collection of 120+ Babysitters Club books (yeah, ok dorky but i was addicted to them) and I had to give them all up when we moved, i was soooo sad.

But on the plus side, i took my little writing desk and moved it into my room and put all my telecourse stuff in it, and banished everything else to another location. NO MORE EXCUSES not to do my school work. It's been sitting for almost a year. and i only have one more year to do it all. I need someone to kick me in the *** i think. *L* But I have a nice new decluttered area to work on, if i ever get around to it.

umm... I did keep my copy of the Little Prince... and I have a dog eared copy of The Dogs of War that I bought at a rummage sale about a year ago and still haven't read. I also have an old copy of the Tropic of Capricorn

I'm still here working away

Today I am putting some stuff away that doesn't have a home and which is currently all over my dining room table

Then it is on to the bathroom where I intend to declutter the medicine cabinet and cupboards

Well I got distracted by cleaning the kitchen and dusting and tidying up the bedroom so I never got the dining room table done ...I think I am looking for excuses NOT to do it

I did manage to get my two small make up boxes cleaned out ( since I could no longer get the lids on) and sorted, I don't wear much make up but I sure like to hoard lipstick and nail polish - I had about 22 lipsticks and 12 nail polish. I managed to get it down to 6 lipsticks, two lip liners and 6 nail polish that match the lipsticks - whew! and parting was such sweet sorrow....

Well, we've now finally finished the garage and even got the car in with room to walk around it and then some!! Yay!! Then we started the "moving the beast" (Giant TV Center) project in the living room last week, and I am going to work on finishing that up today. I took lots of before pics, but I want to get it all perfect and take after pics so you can see the comparison. The living room looks huge now! I have been weeding through things as I go along and managed to purge a buncha knick knacks, CDs, videos, and next is the books! OUT!!! to the swap-meet or EbaY they go!! Yay!! Less junk more funk! hahaha
