Pigs Anonymous II

This evil person who lives in my body just ate FOUR bran muffins with raisins. (I think she is an emotional eater!) Dumb broad!

Goddess Jessica 09-16-2003 02:06 PM

Yuck. Had you said, "Four Chocolate Muffins" I could relate. Bran muffins? Were they chocolate bran?

mauvaisroux 09-16-2003 02:34 PM

No they were non- South Beach Diet Bran! :ink:

Ruth are Ellis, Den and I going to have to come out there swat you with our beach towels?

Don't beat yourself up about it hon! You have enough to worry about right now and tomorrow is another day :D :grouphug:

dentrassi 09-16-2003 05:01 PM

HEY RUTH!!! At least the bran would lower the GI count, wouldn't it?!? And, dare i say it, eating 4 will probably clear out the problem faster than 1 would have!!!

Ruthxxx 09-16-2003 05:12 PM

Well, on top of the 125 grams of dried prunes I ate on the weekend and about two cups of roasted chick peas, there will soon be a sonic boom from here if it all works! You will all be relieved to know that I am drinking lots of water this afternoon!

ellis 09-16-2003 06:37 PM

Damn. Dorito fit.
Ruth, keep your darned farts to yourself, please. :D

Jennifer 3FC 09-16-2003 10:01 PM

Wow Ruthie, I felt a tremor in Tennessee! That was a potent breakfast! Hey, it could have been worse, you could have eaten candy for breakfast. At least you picked a food that will remind you later of what you did! :p

sflake 09-17-2003 02:39 PM

I just had a small bag of cheetos :ink: damn.

squeaker 09-17-2003 02:44 PM

Um, Even though I don't really like it, I had 3 pieces of cake yesterday. :o

Ruthxxx 09-17-2003 03:48 PM

You don't like cake! Are you NUTS! :yikes:

dentrassi 09-17-2003 03:54 PM

Ruth-Aim it towards Isabel, maybe THAT'LL chase it back out to sea!!!

Squeak-I'm not that much of a cake freak either.....but BUTTER TARTS..... drool..... THERE I GO AGAIN!!!

DORITOES AND CHEETOS?!?! THAT'S my cup of tea (which is what we should be having instead of all the goodies!!!

squeaker 09-18-2003 07:49 AM

Nope, not one a big cake fan most of the time. I like ice cream cake, and cheesecake. The only real cake I never have a problem with is angelfood cake. The rest, I have to really be craving cake, and it doesn't happen very often. And when it does I can normally eat a very small piece and be done. I am partial to Pepperidge Farm Coconut, or Strawberry 3 layer cake.

Ruthxxx 09-18-2003 07:57 AM

Oh dear! I definitely am an emotional eater. Yesterday I ate some Hot Lips - a red cinnamon jujube type candy and then my neighbour (the nutcase) brought over two chocolate bars as a treat for us and I ate them both! Aaaaaarrrrrggggghhhh! Well, at least I know why. It used to be I'd "forget" things like that. I am NOT testing my blood this morning!

mauvaisroux 09-18-2003 12:15 PM

Ruthxxx- :grouphug: hang in there chickie!

Squeaker- at least angel food cake is lower in fat, well if you are not eating the whole cake anyway ;)

Ruthxxx 09-18-2003 01:58 PM

Aaaarrrggggghhhh! Ruthless struck again. The tally so far - two Cadbury burnt almond dark chocolate bars. "Dark chocolate is good for you." Yeah! Right!
Let's stop right here!

dentrassi 09-18-2003 04:21 PM

drool.....chocolate and almonds....drool.....

Ruthxxx 09-18-2003 06:25 PM

Got the urge again mid-afternoon but went out and picked raspberries. Yummy! but sure would have been better dipped in chocolate!

ellis 09-18-2003 06:42 PM

I have severe gas pains. And I have to go to a parent-orientation at my DD's school. ****.

Jennifer 3FC 09-18-2003 09:45 PM

So, did you make an explosive impression on the teacher?

ellis 09-19-2003 07:11 AM

No. But I felt like lying down on the floor and rubbing my tummy.

Ruthxxx 09-19-2003 07:14 AM

And thumping your leg the way the dogs do? Silly Ellis!

mauvaisroux 09-19-2003 07:40 AM

Ruthxxx- You are terrible!

Hope you are feeling better Ellis :)

dentrassi 09-19-2003 07:41 AM

Poor Ellis needs some love and tums.....

Rowan Bailey 09-19-2003 11:38 AM

I just had for dinner from the low carb store a small cheesecake, a 1/2 cup of sugar free low carb ice cream, some low carb pizza. It probably carb wise wasnt that bad, but it was too much and now I feel ill.....ughhhh

Ruthxxx 09-19-2003 02:00 PM

Mauve, I said Thumping, not Humping! You know, when you tickle a dog's tummy and their leg starts to twitch. What a mind you have! LMAO!

mauvaisroux 09-19-2003 04:08 PM

Ruthxxx- I lost my mind years ago!

Aquareggie 09-19-2003 05:45 PM

Eww! I ate take out... and a big cookie... and ice cream... and it's only 4:48pm... EEEEEEK!!!!!!!!!!

AR

squeaker 09-19-2003 05:48 PM

Ellis - I hope you feel better hon.

I have completely blown today's plan. I'll start over again tomorrow.

Cerise 09-19-2003 07:02 PM

Pig checking in.

Oh, Goddy God...

Do you ever have those days at work where you're snuffling around, going "What can I eat?" and you'll eat anything? Not that you're hungry, mind.

I just ate two raspberry Healthy Advantage bars, one after another, because they were here. Wasn't hungry, don't really like them, just snarfed them down for no good reason. Blech. :p

Am I sick?

ellis 09-19-2003 07:47 PM

That's a pretty typical day for me, Cerise.

Tummy is fine now, thank you. No comment re: the thumping and humping. :D

Ruthxxx 09-19-2003 08:15 PM

Well, you'd better not do either until you feel all better!

ellis 09-19-2003 08:32 PM

oh geez, Ruthie... you're killin' me.

Speaking of killing... that nasty little killer is running around Ottawa! Did you hear he broke into some woman's bedroom? I'm going to have to start carrying my letter opener around with me. The brass one molded from a chicken foot.
I wonder if I should go to bed...

chervata 09-19-2003 10:35 PM

Ruthie---your dogs---are they portuguese water dogs? We have one next door and she's so cute!!

dentrassi 09-19-2003 11:57 PM

Ellis-I can see you brandishing that chicken foot at an intruder and yelling after him as he runs away,"You BETTER run! I'm on a diet and I am not in a playful mood."

Rowan Bailey 09-20-2003 02:38 PM

yes, the only thing worse than pms is being on a diet!!! they are taking their chances on where we are at any given moment!!!

LOL

ellis 09-21-2003 10:00 AM

oooooh, yeah, Rowan!

squeaker 09-23-2003 01:02 PM

This damn evil piece of turtle cheesecake followed me back to work. About 2/3 jumped into my mouth. The rest I made my friend eat.

Goddess Jessica 09-23-2003 02:13 PM

I started off by eating whatever was in the kitchen at work. Very very bad. Cheese and crackers, cookies.

Then, I took my boyfriend out to dinner. We had Chinese food. Duck. With the skin. And some of those fried noodle thingees, and creme brulee. I was really really really bad.

Then, I had a brownie... okay, it was two... before I went to bed.

Rowan Bailey 09-24-2003 12:57 AM

I just love this thread....I always feel so bonded with everyone's ability to share, it also feels good to not keep the secret...I remember trying to share why I don't have cookies in my house....you know its the law, the cookie law, that once the bag is open, it has to be eaten with 4 hours or the world will implode....

he he he -rb

ellis 09-24-2003 08:31 AM

What a crock. I had a GREAT eating day yesterday. Until my DH got home and offered to pick up snacks. I ate two little boxes of bridge mixture. Then, after we'd gone around distributing Green Party flyers, I felt obliged to eat two packs of Mackintosh toffee and two Eatmores. Damn. What the **** is wrong with me.
