I hear you about the donuts...is there a more wonderful food? Just got back from Ingles and they are just so nice...have the Krispy Kreme display sitting right there in the middle of the isle with all these wonderful, fresh donuts...I nearly have to run past not to buy any...I think, "I'll just buy some for my husband and son" but I know from past experience that they "call" to me!!

I'm doing better today...ate a big steak for breakfast...then a small burnt cookie (as quality control -- I had to be sure they were safe for my "guys" to eat later) You just don't want to eat a lot of burnt cookies...thank goodness.

They're pouring my deck tomorrow morning at 7:00...we've all been anxiously watching the weather channel....just 30% chance of rain so I'm hoping it will all be okay...I have so much nervous energy...I've vacuumed the house, paid the bills, run errands, cleaned the bathrooms and still feel like I could run a marathon...I just hope this is burning a LOT of calories!!

Just got back from really over-doing it at Steak n Shake but it was sooooo good. I went all out...had a double cheeseburger with bacon, fries, chili and a chocolate shake. I will be good the rest of the weekend...I promise!!!

alright...a Taco Bell chicken quesadilla, and two double decker tacos...and later that evening some lemon cookies. I am going to have a double decker a** again if I don't stop it!
On a positive note...I DID exercise. (Helpful hint...a Pilates workout with a Dynaband is a struggle to complete with a cat nearby.)

Rowan, was your face blue too?

OK, I have a confession to make too.....I had an oinky day today. I bought 4 little bags (the individual serving size) of peanut M&Ms today (originally not meant for me, but.....), ended up eating them all!!! All 4 bags, every one of them, at 250 calories each! That's 1000 extra calories, in addition to everything else I ate today. Peanut M&Ms are evil I tell you, they're possessed! They overtake my mind and my body and my willpower. Hmmmmm, wonder if I can sue the Mars Candy Co (I think that's who makes them?).....hey, if people can sue McDonald's, I should be able to sue Mars!

I don't know for some reason when I watch Willy Wonka I always have a suspicion I have more in common with Violet and Otto than Charlie. I would be hard pressed to not contaminate a chocolate river ;-)

Did my own little oink out yesterday and there was some chocolate involved. More ashamed though about the wheat cereal I ate and the bread as that is what is giving me the horendous belly ache this morning.

Johnny Depp as Willy Wonka???? I'll contaminate his river any time...HHMMMMM... Has anyone ever seen the episode of Jacka** where Wee Man dressed up like an Oompa Loompa? It was HILARIOUS...the costume and makeup was perfect.
I ended yesterday's oinky day on a high note with Chex Mix...today I am starting new...thank goodness.
