  • I managed to get up at 6 am everyday this week and did my exercise videotapes
  • 6:00 am? I bow to my leader...
My ta~freakin~da is I served cake at a big wedding last night and didn't eat even one bite. (of course, after seeing how bad I served it, a lot of people could make the same statement)
  • Managed to go grocery shopping and only bought fruits, veggies, milk & bread.

Also partially cleaned out my car.
  • I have stuck to my new diet for 3 whole days!
  • Way to go chickies!

Ginya- resisting that cake must have been tough- I don't know if I could have done it!

Squeak-yay! It is so much easier to stay OP when you actually have the house stocked.

Great going Ellis- keep up the good work!
  • I bought a suit for work today at lunch 1/2 off the regular price!
....and....I fit one size smaller than I used to
  • Six days on my diet!!

    Mauvais, that's wonderful news!!
  • Congrats Ellis!!

Mauvais - very cool! You are also very brave for even going shopping for one.
  • You are all awesome.
I called my Dr. to let him know how depressed I have been. This is very scary for me. I don't trust those people. TA-DA

    Chris
  • Oh Chris... good for you! Don't regret it... it gets easier. Once you start letting that stuff out you'll feel more relaxed. You're not a weirdo! You're NORMAL!!
And if you need support, you know we're here for you.
    hugs sweetie...

    Thank you Squeak.
  • YOU are the one who is awesome, Chris. I am always scared to let my doctor know when I need help - takes me weeks to set up an appt and then I can never seem to own up, I always sound so damn cheery. So I think you are absolutely wonderful --

    Lidian
  • Thank you. I am glad I am normal, cause I was pretty sure that only crazy people call their Dr.'s to tell them they are depressed.

    Chris
  • No Chris -- only the smart people do.

    Lidian
  • Yea Chris! That is huge and wonderful Ta Da.
  • Actually, I'm pretty sure that we "crazy people" are in the majority, Chris. Which makes us "the norm". Lidian's right!

I'm the same, Lidian. Stiff upper lip at all times! Who would ever know I was depressed!? That's why people like us slip away. We don't call the doctor because we're too embarrassed, and the next thing you know we're in a ward with bandaged wrists. THAT'S crazy... when we don't call for help when we need it!
