Just wanted to post a quick note and let everyone know where I've been. I have been excercising, just haven't had time to post my minutes. I'm leaving this morning and won't be home till Saturday afternoon. I'm going to a band clinic, I play trumpet. I WILL be excercising when I'm on the road, no excuses for not finding time. I'll hopefully be able to jump on tonight and post my minutes. Continue your wonderful hard work!! I'm so proud of this thread and the lovely people who are working it. I know we'll make the 3000 by Sunday night.
^as usual, i did not want to get started on the cardio after a couple of days off. i tried to make up a billion excuses, but read some thread and was motivated to get going. at one point i dissociated from myself and didnt realize where the time had gone while i was DDRing. (like ending up in the work parking lot and no knowing how you got there).
but i got the ball rolling and i am anxious to workout through out the weekend now.
I actually love escaping to the gym and am making myself a priority to do so. If I can get out of the lab early enough today I'm going to do my 60 min. on the treadmill. I need to find a plan for lifting though.
Alterna-K8 is sooo good at "not having time" to exercise! OF COURSE I HAVE TIME! This week I've been really good. My worst day was 20 minutes of exercise bike but at least I squeezed in SOMETHING.
My goal is to do 2 half hour sessions a day -- walk/running in the a.m. and swimming, yoga, or stretching vids in the p.m. So I'm 4 out of 5 with that this week, on a roll! Nice to be on a roll that didn't come from La Brea bakery, HA!
i cant wait for this snow to melt so that i can go hiking, camping, festivals...lake michigan

Please, y'all jump in. just set a personal monthly goal and add your minutes to the group minutes within your post. i just don't want anyone to feel left out if their minutes were overlooked.
Congrats everyone for kicking butt in the gym! Tuesday is my freakishly busy day, and I cooooould be working out now, but I like to reserve Tuesday night for my vice of watching The Biggest Loser. Could be a worse vice, I suppose. But I will be sure to check in tomorrow after a nice long workout!
