Kickin' Work Out Music
Alternachicks & Alternadudes have such great taste in music, it's no wonder that people pass by and post asking us all about our favorite workout tunes!
So post! Tell us about a favorite workout song. Or ten :) Come back anytime and add more if you come across something good. This will provide a space for anyone wanting to begin a playlist, update an old one, or just find something great and new. It'll keep us all moving to some good music. This will be Sticky'd (Thanks Mauvaisroux!) so that it can keep being added onto and modified. |
Well, let's start this off!
I usually like to start my workouts off with: The Distance - Cake Everybody Knows You Cried Last Night - The Fratellis Move Away - The Killers Slow-er things, that I think help me built up. Knock knock is this thread still on? Nothing makes me want to move like "I Don't Feel Like Dancing" by Scissor Sisters. Oh the irony. I also love Under the Influence of Giants, Deep Purple and Budgie. A lot of music that doesn't do anything for other people really energizes me.
|
I have to say that my absolute BEST treadmil song is SANDSTORM!!! If you get the 8 minute track of it you can run the WHOLE thing and just cut it back half a K in the slower parts. I also like Call on ME- Eric prydz for running!
