Hello GGs! I had a wonderful Mothers Day and felt very pampered. Three of the kids gave me gifts...something I did not expect. I'm happy enough if they just call. Our son came over last night and gave me a watch. He said he thought it was time I had a more expensive watch...LOL...I always buy a cheap Timex. Works fine for me. But the new one will be my dress up watch for now. I also got to Facetime with our youngest ds and gs.

I am now back on my eating plan. No change in weight or bs. went to the gym this morning and walked/jogged (but mostly walked) a mile. Also rode bike ten minutes and did the hand bike 6 min. Didn't get to the other machines today. So not so long today.

Cajun - Sounds like you really had a fun weekend. Glad you had a special time with family!

Lucinda - Your Mother's Day sounds lovely too! Veggies on the grill are so yummy! Made me hungry reading about it.

Rosey - Your days sounds so peaceful and nice too. I hope your man gets to feeling better soon...this has not been a good year for him has it. Last year was my physically difficult year...but as Karen promised, I'm better now except for my bs. So hope better days are ahead for him too.

Karen31 - Still praying and hoping for God's best for you and Tim.

New NSV here! I went for my biweekly check in with my weight coach and we did the measures and my waist is now 25" !!!! I haven't been 25 inches since I was about 23; my weight hasn't changed - still in the 130-132 range so I guess all the brisk walking and aquacize is toning me up a bit!

YAAAAY me!

I bought six new skirts from an online store and I just returned them all b/c I have no concept of what my size is! I need to purchase clothes that fit otherwise I won't be committed to no longer being overweight.

Trying to upload profile pic, it shows as current but when I leave page it is gone and does not show up and when I push either of the button choices it says upload failed ...

left side = 'User CP' then bottom of list "edit profile picture" you should be able to add a new one there - only 1 at a time tho. Maybe your file is too big?

I'm trying to get things done around the house today. My major focus today is on my office...a small room but packed with a lot of stuff! It's not only an office but a storage space!

My scale is not working...we've changed batteries twice so think it's time for a new one. Ill probably get one tomorrow while I'm out.

Dh had a eye doctor appt. The intraocular lens is slipping...this is same eye he had surgery on last year...So they will referring him to a specialist in Portland for this but later on like toward end of year. He also didn't do well on the field vision test, but we were told that his vision would not improve for a few years so guess that is not really unexpected.

Yesterday I received the earrings I won. They are pretty.

Well need to get back to work. Hope you all are having a good week.

My Windows Live Photo Gallery tells me how many pixels/total Kb my picture is - I usually hit the 'Properties' then the 'resize' button and make it the smallest choice 640 for these purposes.
Maybe you have no idea what I'm talking about - my pix are all on my computer not my phone. Hope it helped... You may have to download to photo program in your computer and then resize then post picture.

Hi all: I hope everyone takes a moment to find something to smile about in their life today - and keeps it in mind until tomorrow... I have to pull some rhubarb and get busy in the kitchen stewing & freezing, oh my goodness, has it EVER grown in the past 2 weeks.

Hello GGs...don't seem to be many posting these days...probably more outside enjoying the nicer weather I hope. It is beautiful here. Dh is working in the yard most of the time. He has finally had to start watering too. He has so much to do and I didn't get much sleep so we didn't go to the gym this morning. I hav e a lot to do too so it works better for me too. We went to BB&B and bought a cheap scale. I hope it works ok but so far it seems to. I stepped on it and my weight was about the same as it's been, but will be able to tell more in the morning.

Finally got the med I needed for my scalp condition. Never had so much trouble getting meds from Express Scripts before but it's been a hassle this time. Not sure if it was them or the clinic but the clinic denied getting any requests from them. By now my condition is worse again but the med is helping me already.

I'm not good with the pictures either, so won't give any suggestions. Hope you get it figured out.

Just had to let someone know....I had a good blood sugar reading today before lunch! My first since I got back on track. It takes time to get it down when it gets so high. I realize it is just one but I do think if I am consistently eating right I can still get it down more. Whether it will be enough to avoid more meds I don't know, but at least I'll feel better knowing I've tried.
