True progress is only going to come from your own inner willingness to do what you need to do. If you SERIOUSLY feel you want to lose weight, you will put THAT in your mind and ignore all the rest. Everything is a test, and while thinking of that and whatever your next step is, ask yourself... haven't I done this.... and has it been working thus far? Since it hasn't, you know it's the wrong path, so you need to try something else.

Yes it's going to be hard at first, but trust me it gets easier once it becomes a way of your life. Work hard not at being against what he's doing, but moreso at ignoring it. If he wants to stick to that and you can't get him to change, them get his butt a foreman grill or nuwave oven or whatever and let him cook it himself. Tell him it's against what your goal is so if he can't help by not bringing it home all the time, then HE is just going to have to cook it himself.

Of course it will probably start a war to where he is going to season it real good and make sure you can smell it, but that's when the battle starts. You give him those evil eyes with a dirty look and smile, but DO NOT GIVE IN. Then tell him about it at night in a playful manner about how he trying to get you and you won't let him win, etc. Make it fun, it doesn't have to be a struggle and painful.

Once he sees how serious you are and how SEXY you will be getting, trust me he might want to jump on board to try and keep up or he might love it so much he wants to be able to handle it better (if you know what I mean *lion growl with a wolf howl)

Hi! I was recently diagnosed with insulin resistance. I am 51 years old, have PCOS (which I had long forgotten about since my pregnancy days are over) and although I've been following a low carb diet for over a month and exercising regularly, the weight is hanging on for dear life! I am considering a DIY IP plan and would welcome suggestions!

Thanks!
