I have not done well with the challenges but I will try again. we are home again for a while so that may help.
I will post weight, calories and exercise. I can't believe how quickly I have regained recently so have kept my sig the same in hopes it will soon be true again. ;-0

165.6!!5 min yoga, 7 min running in place (maybe more like jogging), and about 5 min. other exercises and stretching. Won't be back at the gym until the first but will try to do a little exercise here at home each day. I'm really sore today from just 10 min. of exercises I did last night so I need it! 1343 Calories, 12 carb servings BS 156H
3/26 164.4 BS223H, then later 153, 1740 calories! 19 carb servings!! Walked and other exercises about 30 min.
3/27 165.6 10 BS166H, min exercises for abs and legs, 1236 calories, almost 15 carb servings so high again...need to be more careful seems like I have trouble thinking about both calories AND carbs. Get one right but not both.
3/28 164.2, not a good day. BS high. No exercise other than almost 4 hours of shopping, too many calories and carbs.
3/29 164.2, exercised a few minutes, 1404 calories and 9 carb servings. It's been a good day!

4/5 166.4!! 1484 calories, 14 carb serving, have had a bad headache for about 2 weeks now (with a few days break here and there) and just discovered it is due to an herbal supplement I have been taking that Valerian it it! I know from previous experience (twice!) that Valerian and I do not do well together. I've stopped taking it so hopefully will feel better soon. Whoops...spoke too soon..have to edit my post 1652 calories and almost 15 carb servings and a few minutes of exercises. I'll be sorry I ate so much when I go to the doctor tomorrow!
4/6 165, bs 183H, doctor appt..amazingly my A1C was only 6.6 still but he says it can sorta lag behind what I'm doing so next time even if I do well on my diet it may be higher. great! Oh well, one day at a time. I told him I would really try to stick to my diet so hope I can do it. I just get SO tired of dieting and yet I know I have to do this the rest of my life! 1487 calories, about 13 carb servings. A little high but not too bad.

5/29 160.6 buffet for lunch! Yikes! Tried to watch it but know I still ate too much. I was planning on using the 3-bite rule for dessert but forgot about it when I saw doughnuts and ice cream! 1498 calories, 12 carb servings. Hope I calculated correctly as that doesn't seem to bad considering eating at a buffet!

I lost 5.4 lbs since I started this challenge (3/25/)!! Very slow going but I am just thankful to have lost and hope I can keep it off.
Chat: Forgot to mention in the beginning that I am diabetic (type 2) and will also track carb servings and my bs each day as I really need to get it under control too.
5/2 My goal right now is to get back down to 157. I was there in Nov and again in Jan but only very briefly.
5/30 Guess I did ok yesterday despite the buffet. Today we will be eating out again..eating out is a real challenge but I do feel I am choosing more wisely than I used to...not perfect but I'm doing better. And yesterday I didn't let the big meal and being op one meal cause me to throw the whole day away like I usually do. That's a big step forward for me!
