Question Exercise for 65+

I brought my 65 yo mom to live with me last week (has Alzheimer's). Since I'm dieting/working out everyday, Mom wants to workout too. I'm currently turbo jamming at home but I think it would be too fast paced for her (for now). I am hoping someone could suggest some starter exercises. Thanks ladies

BTW: Mom is 5'2" and 210 lbs

Leslie Sansone has a DVD for older people who are just getting started called Walk For Seniors Aerobics.

If you do a search for senior exercise dvd you can probably find lots.

If she has no history of exercise she should start slow--walking is probably good. Make sure she has good shoes, not just some little flat slip on things.

I'm sorry to hear your mom has Alzheimer's at 65. That's pretty young. I assume a doctor has diagnosed her.

Good luck,
Jay
