Just about every month I post a new "Challenge" thread for everyone who posts on the 50+ site. Few folks join up.
Last week, one of the ladies on the Golden Girls thread asked "why?"
Got me to thinking & I've got some ideas about the April thread.
I'm thinking of calling it an "Accountability Thread" or an "Efforts Thread" insted of a "Challenge Thread." Instead of it being a "contest" with a winner & losers, it would just be a place for everyone to post their intake (calories or points or whatever they are counting) and their output (whatever exercise they are doing).
What do you think about this & do you have any ideas what it should be called?
Oh YEAH . . . Although I have been joining in, just the word "challenge" gives me goosebumps -- I've been using it just as an accountibility thing anyway; but maybe others are being put off by the name, too.
How about a name that indicates a 'sharing' kind of thing. Maybe "Sharing Our Progress" or "The Daily Sharing Circle" or "Step by Step for the month of April".

This way, folks might not feel like they need to drop out if they have a bad day.

Since I signed up I have done my exercises on every appointed day and stuck to my ******** diet. Haven't cheated yet. I lost 2 pounds and a couple of inches. I can wear a size 13 now! Haven't been able to do that for a while.
