Meowee, my mom was diagnosed with endometrial cancer about nine weeks ago. She had a hysterectomy about six weeks ago. I looked up the risk factors of contracting this type of cancer. OBESITY was the #1 risk factor. Obesity produces its own estrogen supply and long term exposure to estrogen increases the risk of having this cancer and also breast cancer.

If that isn't incentive enough to keep our weight at a normal weight, I don't know what is.
