I soooooooooo didn't want to post this (I'm always 1 day behind) I don't want anyone looking at this menu and think it's a healthy way of eating. We just have so much to do and eating isn't a priority at the moment. But I committed to this challenge and I'll post my menu. Just don't follow it. I swear I'll eat better today.

Okay, yesterday.

I had to drive up to Western Mass for a meeting scheduled for 8:30 in the AM. You don’t want to KNOW what time I had to get up and get on the road!

ANYWAY,

B- dry Fiber One cereal in a baggie with raisins and dried cranberries (Yum – and a great traveler! Ate it on the drive up.)

S – 1 med. Banana

L- leftover (heated in their office microwave) low cal/high fiber pasta & sauce

S- STARVING when I got home for some reason…ate more Fiber One w/raisins & cranberries, AND four cups (15 cal. Each) Smart Pop kettle corn

D- A rotisserie chicken breast from Boston Chicken & a double serving of mixed steamed veggies (green beans, carrots, summer squash) Carmel low fat/60 cal. Pudding w/low fat/low cal whipped cream

S – No snack; was totally exhausted for some reason (which is why I called DH and had him bring home Boston Chicken for dinner) and went to bed pretty soon after dinner.

Exercise – None for the first time in a VERY long time; just too tired, plus it was cold and drizzly out.

Fun – Not really ; felt pretty lousy, actually; think I was running a low-grade fever - felt very "out of it" towards afternoon and the end of the day.

Okay. Today. (I'm feeling some better, Phyllis, so whatever that was, it doesn't hang on too long, thank goodness . Hope whatever you have passes just as quickly. The weather is still kind of lousy hereabouts, and I may have to resort to using the trimrider in the spare bedroom if it's raining after work and I can't take a bike ride).

B- Baggie w/dry Fiber One, raisins & cranberries.
S- Peanut Butter Fiber One bar (The peanut butter bars don't have SHELLAC
in them)
L- A sun dried tomato Flat Out (thanks, Bobbi!!!) w/a slice of pretend soy
American cheese (35 cal.), 2 thin slices deli ham, 2 thin slices deli turkey,
mustard. 1 Orange
S- None - I have no food left with me!!!!!
D- Baked chicken breast (I KNOW, Phyllis. I KNOW. I'm beginning to FEEL like
a chicken breast!), a baked sweet potato w/I can't believe it's not butter
spray, steamed brocolli, carmel FF pudding, FF whipped cream, Fiber One
sprinkles
S- Maybe Smart Pop popcorn

Exercise - either a bike ride or the Trimrider, depending on the weather

Fun - Hmmmm. Let's see. Nothing that I can really classify as rip-roaring fun, to tell you the truth. DH & I will chat about our day, we'll chat about politics, current events, and maybe we'll listen to a few NPR segments while he paints or <confession time> I may read aloud from one of our Edward/win (?) Rutherfurd novels - probably the one that traces Ireland's history. We both really enjoy his books. That's my dirty little secret - we like reading aloud to each other. (Yeah...we're pretty weird...)

TTFN,

Ella-the-Odd

Good going, Phyllis (and everybody). I'm still afraid to weigh myself. Sad but true. Maybe tomorrow.

ANYWAY, here goes:

B- baggie w/ Fiber One cereal, another kind of (organic, high fiber) cereal, some dried cranberries, raisins, and five little pieces of dried pineapple.

L - Baked chicken breast from last night, steamed brocolli (been buying fresh brocolli in microwaveable steamer bags), 1 sun dried tomato Flat-Out.

S- 1/2 (135 cal.) of a "women's something-or-other" chocolate bar. Costs a fortune, guaranteed to do everything for you, including the laundry. Okay. Not the laundry. No need. DH does it.

D- Hmmm. Should be interesting. Going to grandson's "graduation from Kindergarten" cook out. I have been promised a tossed salad and barbecue sauce-less grilled chicken. (Yeah. More chicken. Cluck, cluck!!)

S - NO microwave Smart Pop! (Need to buy a new microwave tomorrow. Old one seems to have a short circuit or something. Keeps tripping the circuit breaker. Not good.) If I MUST, I'll have a Fiber One peanut butter bar for an evening snack. (Unless I'm reading the ingrients wrong, I think it's just the chocolate ones that say they have "confectioner's shellac" in them. Ack!

Exercise - a bike ride if we're home in time. If not, I guess I'll just have to settle for chasing little kids around at the cook out!!!!

Fun - The cook out (one can only hope, right?)

Anybody got any funny stories? (I'm sooo bored!)
